Cassini-Huygens was a space mission that sent an unmanned spacecraft (called Cassini) to explore the planets Saturn and its moons. Cassini was launched in 1997 and arrived at Saturn in 2004. Once it was near Saturn, Cassini released another smaller spacecraft called Huygens. Huygens then flew to one of Saturn's moons called Titan and landed on it in 2005. Huygens was able to take pictures and collect other data about Titan, which helped teach us what Titan's surface looks like and what the air is made of. Cassini, on the other hand, continued orbiting Saturn and taking pictures and studying the planet until 2017 when it had to be destroyed by being destroyed.
