ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Casual courier

Okay kiddo, so you know how sometimes people need to send things like letters or packages to other people who are far away? Well, sometimes these people are too busy or too far away to send the package themselves, so they hire someone called a courier to do it for them.

Now, a casual courier is someone who doesn't work for a big company like FedEx or UPS. Instead, they just do it as a side job or for extra money. They might use their own car or bike to deliver packages, and they get paid by the person who hired them directly.

It's kind of like if you were going to a friend's house and they asked you to drop off a birthday present for them at another friend's house on the way. You wouldn't be a professional delivery person, but you would still be doing a similar job as a casual courier!
