Casualty lifting

Casualty lifting is like picking up a hurt friend in your arms to carry them somewhere safe. Just like when you get a boo-boo, sometimes people get really hurt and can't walk or move on their own. In these cases, specially trained people called rescuers need to come and help lift the hurt person to safety.

To do this, the rescuers wear special clothes and have tools like ropes and stretchers to help safely lift the person. They have to work together to take care of the hurt person and make sure they don't get hurt even more while they are being lifted.

Once they lift the person, they take them to a safe place like a hospital where doctors and nurses can help make them feel better. It's important to know how to do casualty lifting because it helps keep hurt people safe and get them the help they need.
