Cat's paw (nail puller)

Okay kiddo, do you know how when we want to take out a nail, we use a hammer to knock it out of the wood? Sometimes, the nail gets stuck or it's hard to grab onto with our fingers. That's where the cat's paw comes in.

It's a special tool that has a claw shape on one end and a flat, straight part on the other end that we use to grip onto. We use the claw part to dig under the head of the nail and pry it up, like a cat does when it tries to catch something with its paws.

Then, we can use the flat part to grip onto the nail and pull it out of the wood. It makes it much easier and safer to remove nails without hurting ourselves or damaging the wood.

So, the cat's paw is like a special tool that helps us take out nails from wood by using a claw to lift them up and a grip to pull them out. Pretty neat, huh?
