ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Catalan Way

The Catalan way is like when you and your friends hold hands and walk in a long line. Except instead of just you and your friends, it's thousands of people walking together all at once!

In Catalonia, which is a place in Spain, many people want to have their own separate country. They want to be in charge of their own rules and decisions instead of having the bigger country of Spain tell them what to do.

So, people who believe in this idea get together and plan a big walk. They hold hands and form a super-long line that goes for miles and miles, with everyone wearing the same color or holding the same flag. This is called the "Catalan way." It's like saying "we all want the same thing and we're united to show it."

The goal of the Catalan way is for the people to show that they are dedicated to their idea of wanting their own country. It can also be a way for them to make their voices heard and show the politicians in charge that they want things to change.

But remember, it's important to always be peaceful and respectful during the Catalan way. Just like how you and your friends hold hands, everyone in the Catalan way wants to work together and support each other for their beliefs.
