Cauchy's laws of motion

Cauchy's Laws of Motion are rules that explain how things move. They say that objects will keep moving in the same direction and at the same speed, unless something changes it. For example, if you throw a ball, it will keep moving in the same direction until something, like a wall, makes it stop. It will also keep moving at the same speed, unless something, like air resistance, makes it slow down.
