ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Cell physiology

Cell physiology is like the biology of how a living thing (like a plant or animal) works. Just like you are made up of different parts like bones, skin, and muscles, plants and animals are made up of tiny things called cells. Cells have different parts inside of them, like a tiny energy factory, a waste factory, and a road system to get things around, that all help keep the plant or animal alive and healthy. Cells are the smallest living things, and together they work to make sure the plant or animal can get what it needs and stay alive. You can think of cell physiology as the way all of those tiny parts inside of the cells work together to help keep the plant or animal living and healthy.
