Okay kiddo, you know how we have a body with different parts like our arms, legs, and tummy, right? Now, imagine that our body is made up of millions and millions of tiny things called cells. These tiny cells are so small that you cannot see them with your eyes, but they are very important, just like the puzzle pieces that make up a picture.
Now, the cells alive system is all about understanding how these cells work together to keep our body healthy and working properly. Just like how your toys have instructions on how to play with them, cells have instructions too. These instructions are called DNA and they tell the cell what to do and how to do it.
But, just like how we need food, water, and air to survive, cells also need things like nutrients, oxygen, and water to stay alive. So, they have special structures inside them like tiny factories to produce energy and waste removal systems to get rid of harmful things.
Cells also need to communicate with each other to make sure everything is working correctly. They send messages to each other like a team of astronauts talking in space, so that they can coordinate their work together. If one cell is not doing its job well, it can affect the whole team and make our body sick.
The cells alive system is all about understanding these tiny parts of our body and how they work together to keep us healthy. So, just like how you take care of your toys by giving them what they need, we need to take care of our cells by giving them the things they need too!
