Censorship in the United States

Censorship is when somebody (like a government) makes it so that certain information cannot be seen, heard, shared, or said. It usually happens when people think that the information might be bad or hurtful in some way, so they try to keep it from being seen or heard. In the United States, the government has different laws that decide what information can and can't be shared. This means that the government can keep certain things from being seen or heard, and that's called censorship.
