Center for Asymmetric Warfare (CAW)

The Center for Asymmetric Warfare (CAW) is a type of military center that is designed to help protect a country's people, land and resources. CAW helps to identify and respond to threats that are made in a way that is not typical or straight forward. Asymmetric warfare means that one side could use different methods to try to outsmart their opponent, like using long-range weapons, surprise attacks or less-powerful weapons. CAW helps to figure out what might happen and how to respond in these kinds of situations. It also helps to train people to be ready for these kind of irregular warfare tactics.
