Central oil storage

Central oil storage is like an extra-big pantry for oil. Just like you keep your snacks and food in a big pantry in your kitchen, countries and big companies keep their oil in a big storage facility. This is because oil is very important for things like making gasoline for cars, heating buildings, and making electricity.

The oil is stored in big metal containers, like huge metal drums. These containers are then stored in big warehouses that are designed to keep the oil safe and secure. The warehouses are usually located near oil refineries or shipping ports, so the oil can be easily transported to where it needs to go.

Having a central oil storage is important because oil is a limited resource and it needs to be rationed out carefully. If countries or companies didn't have a central storage area, they would have to rely on shipping and transporting it from far away places every time they needed it, which could be very expensive and impractical. By having a central storage area, countries and companies can keep large amounts of oil nearby and be ready to use it whenever they need it.
