Ceremonial pole

A ceremonial pole is a tall, carved or painted wooden pole that is used in some cultures for important ceremonies. It often has important symbols, designs, and carvings on it which are important to the culture that erected it. People from the community gather around it to celebrate special occasions like marriages, births, and big events. Some poles are also used in rituals and ceremonies to celebrate things like a good harvest or the start of a new year.
