Cernunnos

Cernunnos is a very old god that some people used to believe in a long time ago. He was often worshipped by people who lived in what is now known as Europe, especially in areas like France, Britain, and Ireland. Cernunnos is usually thought of as a god of the forest, animals, and nature.

When people would talk about Cernunnos, they might imagine a man with antlers, who looked kind of like a deer. He was often shown in drawings or sculptures like this, with long hair and a big beard. People used to think that Cernunnos was really important because he had control over the animals and plants in the forest. They wanted to make sure that he was happy, so he would make their crops grow and their hunting go well.

Today, most people don't believe in Cernunnos anymore as they no longer believe in the gods of olden times. However, some people who follow a religion called Paganism still believe in Cernunnos and other old gods. They might celebrate him during certain festivals or ceremonies, and some might even have statues of him in their homes or outdoor spaces.
