Horned deity

Okay kiddo, so imagine there is a really powerful and important person who people believe is like a god. They have horns on their head which makes them look a little different from regular people. This person is usually called a horned deity. Some cultures believe that these horned deities control important things like the sun, the moon, and the stars. They may also be the protectors of nature or the protectors of people. Some people may even pray to them or make offerings to them, kind of like a birthday present for a friend. Even though they are not real like you and me, some people believe in them and they are an important part of some people's beliefs and traditions.
