Ch'iyar Jaqhi (Cusco)

Ch'iyar jaqhi is a really long name for a special place in Cusco, which is a city far away in a country called Peru. It's really high up in the mountains, which means it's pretty cold and there are a lot of big rocks around. Now, ch'iyar jaqhi is a really important place for the people who lived there a long, long time ago, because it was a place where they could do special ceremonies to honor their gods and to ask for help with important things like growing crops, or having babies, or catching fish.

The people who lived there a long, long time ago believed that the rocks in ch'iyar jaqhi had special powers, so they built a big temple around them. The temple was really big and fancy, and had a lot of important symbols and pictures all over the walls. It was also really, really old - it was built around 2000 years ago! That's a really long time, even longer than your grandpa or grandma has been alive.

Nowadays, people still visit ch'iyar jaqhi to see the temple and learn about the people who lived there a long, long time ago. It's also become a really important tourist attraction, so people come from all over the world to see it. But even though it's really old and special, we have to be careful when we visit ch'iyar jaqhi, because we don't want to break anything or damage the important rocks or symbols that the people who lived there a long, long time ago believed in so much.
