Chafing dish

A chafing dish is like a big, special container for hot food that keeps it warm and tasty. It has a metal frame with a pan on top that holds the food. This pan fits snugly into the frame with a lid on it to help keep the food warm.

When you want to use a chafing dish, you put some hot water into the metal frame, and then you light a little fire underneath it. This fire heats up the water which in turn, heats up the food in the pan on top.

The chafing dish is often used in places like fancy restaurants, hotels, and catering companies. They help keep food warm and prevent it from getting cold and icky. Plus, they make the food look pretty fancy like it is being served in a royal party.
