Chair squat

Alright little one, have you seen a chair before? Great! So a chair squat is when someone stands facing the chair and then sits down on the chair as if they are going to sit on it. But instead of sitting all the way down, they stand back up again.

This is a type of exercise that helps make our legs and hips stronger. When we squat down, it puts a lot of stress on these muscles and helps them get stronger over time.

It's important to have good form when doing a chair squat, which means standing up straight, tucking in your tummy, and bending your knees and hips evenly as you lower yourself down towards the chair.

So if you want to try it yourself, find a chair that's knee-height, stand in front of it, and then do a nice slow squat down towards the chair. Remember to keep your back straight and don't let your knees go over your toes. Then stand back up again, and repeat a few times to make those legs nice and strong!
