ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Chamorro language

So imagine you're on a super cool island called Guam. On this island, people speak many different languages, but one of them is called Chamorro. Chamorro is like a secret code that only the people on Guam really know how to speak.

Just like how we have letters in the English language to make words, Chamorro has its own letters too. But instead of the letters we know like A, B, and C, Chamorro has letters like "Ñ" and "Ch". That's pretty cool, right?

Chamorro is similar to other languages in some ways, but it also has its own special words and phrases that make it unique. For example, instead of saying "hello" like we do in English, they say "Håfa Adai". And instead of saying "goodbye", they say "Adios".

Some people might say that Chamorro is a hard language to learn, but if you practice and keep listening to it, you might just become a secret code master. Plus, it's always cool to know more than one language!
