Channel tunnel

The Channel Tunnel is a long tunnel that goes underneath the English Channel (a very big stretch of ocean) between England and France. It is a very long tunnel - about 31 miles long - and it is buried very deep beneath the sea. It was built so that people, cars, trucks, and trains can travel between England and France underneath the sea. This way, you don't have to take a boat or a plane - you can just drive straight through the tunnel!
