Chaos (mythology)

Chaos is a term based on an Ancient Greek idea of the formless, mysterious and unpredictable beginnings of the universe. In Greek mythology, Chaos was the first thing that existed, before anything else. It was a dark, formless area where huge forces met and fought each other, creating the world we know today. Chaos gave birth to things like stars, oceans, land and even animals.
