ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Charging data record

A charging data record is like a special book that keeps track of how much electricity you use each month. Just like how you use pennies to buy things at the store, you need electricity to make things like your phone, TV, and lights work.

But, someone needs to keep track of how much electricity you use so that they can charge you the right amount of money. That's where the charging data record comes in. It has a record of all the electricity you use and how much you should be charged for it.

Think of it like a cashier at the store who keeps a record of all the things you buy and how much they cost. The charging data record does the same thing, but for electricity. And just like how your parents or guardians pay for the things you buy at the store, they also pay for the electricity you use. The charging data record helps them know how much they owe for that electricity.
