Charity care

Charity care is when people who are really sick or hurt but they can't pay the money for getting better by going to a hospital or a doctor. Sometimes, people can't afford to buy medicine or pay for the treatments that can help them get better. But that's where charity care comes in. It means that some extremely kind and generous people and organizations will help take care of those people for free. That way, even if you don’t have a lot of money, you can still get the help you need when you’re sick or hurt.
