Charles Douglas Jackson

Charles Douglas Jackson was a famous scientist, inventor, and decision maker. He did a lot of work in the fields of aerospace, military, and engineering. He was the Vice President of Lockheed Martin and helped develop the American space program. He also participated in decoding the technology of enemy aircraft during World War II. Jackson was a key player in the development of the space shuttle program and was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1978.
