A chess composer is somebody who creates very cool and interesting puzzles for other people to solve while playing chess. Just like how you like to put together puzzles with lots of pieces, a chess composer likes to put together puzzles with lots of chess pieces!
They use their imagination and creativity to come up with clever and tricky situations on the chess board. They might ask you to find the best way for a certain chess piece to attack another, or to find the move that will help you win the game in the fewest number of moves possible.
Sometimes, a chess composer might even try to trick you by putting the pieces in a way that seems impossible to win, but with some clever thinking, you can actually get yourself out of a sticky situation and come out on top!
