Chess symbols in Unicode

Okay, kiddo, do you know what chess is? It's a fun game where you move different pieces on a board to try and capture your opponent's pieces and win the game.

Now sometimes people use computers to play chess, and the computer needs to show the players what moves they can make. But how can the computer do that when it's just a screen and not a real board?

That's where Unicode comes in! Unicode is a special way to make symbols that can show up on screens and computers. And in Unicode, there are special symbols for every piece in chess!

For example, the symbol for the king is ♔ and the symbol for the queen is ♕. These symbols are made up of special letters and shapes that the computer understands and can show you on the screen.

So when you play chess on your computer, you might see these symbols to show you which pieces you can move. And that's how Unicode helps make playing chess on the computer even more fun!
