Chicano/a Movement in Washington State History Project

The Chicano/a Movement in Washington State History Project is all about remembering and celebrating the history of Chicanos/as in Washington State. Chicanos/as are people whose ancestors were from a Spanish-speaking part of the world but are now living in the United States. The project aims to collect and share stories, photos, and other materials about the people and events that have shaped the history of Chicanos/as in Washington over the past 200 years. Through these activities, the project hopes to preserve and honor the contributions of this community and help people learn more about the history of Chicanos/as in our state.
