Chicken McNuggets
Chicken McNuggets are yummy pieces of chicken that you can get at McDonald's! They are small and round like a ball, but they're not bouncy like one. The chicken is cut into small pieces, and then it's covered in a batter.
The batter is kind of like a big hug for the chicken pieces. It keeps them cozy and protected from the heat when they're cooking. Once the batter-covered chicken pieces are ready, they're cooked in a hot machine called a fryer.
Just like when you cook something hot in the oven, the fryer makes sure the chicken is cooked all the way through. This is important because we don't want uncooked chicken to make us sick!
After the chicken is cooked, it's taken out of the fryer and put in a special paper box. Then you can take the box of Chicken McNuggets and eat them with your yummy dipping sauce like honey mustard, bbq sauce, or sweet and sour sauce.
