Child labor in Africa is when young children have to work instead of going to school. This means they don't get to learn or play like other kids and instead have to do grown-up work like farming or carrying heavy things. This work can be dangerous and some of the children can get hurt or become very sick. The children might get paid, but not as much as a grown-up would. They also might not get a break for a long time and have to work for 12 hours and more. It isn't safe or fair for them.
