ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Children's rights education

Children's rights education is when grown-ups teach kids about their rights. It's like teaching kids what their parents, teachers, and other grown-ups should never do and what they should be able to do. It helps kids learn that they have the right to be safe and to be able to express their feelings and thoughts. It also helps them understand why they can't do some things that they want to do, like stay up late or eat sweets all the time. By learning about their rights, kids will know that they have a right to speak up about things that don't feel good or that seem wrong.
