Chinese New Left

Chinese New Left is an outlook and political movement which started in China in the 1950's. It is an alternative to the conservatism of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The Chinese New Left emphasizes social and economic justice and is critical of Chinese capitalism and the Chinese state. It supports democracy, civil liberties and human rights. It seeks to create a society where people are equal and work together in order to help each other. The Chinese New Left believes in cooperative approaches to problems instead of top-down government control. They also promote respect for diversity and cultural distinctiveness.
