Chirality (chemistry)

Chirality is a concept used in chemistry to describe molecules that are mirror images of each other but that cannot be superimposed. Think of two people making the same exact movements but facing opposite directions, like when you give someone a high five. Even though the movements are the same, the people are still facing different directions. This is an example of chirality. In chemistry, molecules that are chiral will interact differently with other molecules, even though they look the same.
