Christian worship is when people who believe in Jesus get together to give thanks and praise to God. It usually happens in a building called a church, but can also happen outside or in other places.
During worship, people sing songs to God called hymns, pray together, read from the Bible, listen to a sermon (a talk by a pastor or preacher about God and how to live a good life), and sometimes take part in special ceremonies like baptism or communion (where they remember Jesus' sacrifice by eating bread and drinking wine or juice).
The goal of worship is to connect with God, feel his love and presence, and show our gratitude for all the good things he gives us in life. It's a time to focus on our faith and grow closer to God and to each other as part of the Christian community.
