Christianization of Lithuania

Christianization of Lithuania is when the people of Lithuania changed their religious beliefs from their old beliefs to Christianity. This happened in the 14th century, when the Christian religion was spread throughout Europe by Christian missionaries. Christianity teaches that there is only one God, who is loving and wants us to live according to His will. In Lithuania, the people began to follow the teachings of Jesus and the Bible and give up their old beliefs. Churches were built, priests were appointed and gradually the whole country became Christian. This meant that the people of Lithuania began to follow the customs, rituals and laws of Christianity, and stopped worshipping their old gods.
