Hey there kiddo! Christmas is coming soon and that means lots of fun and excitement! Do you know what traditions are? They are things that people do again and again, every year.
During Christmas time, people have lots of traditions. Gathering with family and friends is one of the most important ones. We decorate our homes with beautiful lights, sparkling ornaments and a big green tree that we call a Christmas tree.
People also send special cards with pretty pictures and kind words to their loved ones. These cards are called Christmas cards. We sometimes make our own cards and decorate them with stickers and glitter.
Another important tradition is exchanging gifts. Parents give gifts to their children, and children often make gifts for their parents, grandparents and siblings. It is always a thrill to open the wrapped presents to see what is inside.
And last, but not least, is the most important part - the Christmas dinner. Everyone cooks a special feast with delicious food like roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing and lots of yummy desserts like pies and cakes.
