Clasp to the Iron Cross

Okay kiddo, have you ever seen those big metal rings that gymnasts swing on? Well, they also do something called the "Iron Cross" on them. It's when they hold their arms straight out to the sides like a bird and their body is straight too.

Now, to help keep their arms straight, gymnasts sometimes use something called a "clasp." It's like a little handle that they can hold onto with their hands. This clasp is attached to the metal ring and it helps them keep their arms straight without bending them too much.

So basically, the clasp helps gymnasts stay in the Iron Cross position longer and helps them perform more difficult moves on the rings. It's kind of like a helper for their arms so they can show off their cool gymnastics skills without getting tired too quickly.
