ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Classical electromagnetism

Classical electromagnetism is a bunch of rules about how electricity and magnets work. Think about magnets you might play with at home. These rules help you understand how magnets stick together or repel each other.

When electricity flows through a wire, it makes a force field that can move things around. This force field also makes a magnetic field. Just like how magnets stick to metal, magnets can stick to things that have an electric current flowing through them.

Basically, classical electromagnetism explains how electricity and magnets are related and how they can be used to make things work, like your computer or your mom's car. It's like a set of rules that tell us how to use these things and how they work together.
