Clay animation

Alright kiddo, do you know what clay is? It's like play dough or silly putty that you can mold and shape. Clay animation is when people use this kind of clay to make little characters, then take pictures of each tiny movement or change they make. For example, if they want the character to wave hello, they would take a picture of the character's arm raised up, then move the arm slightly and take another picture, and so on.

Once they have all of these pictures, they put them together really fast, like flipping through a book, and it makes it look like the character is moving all by themselves! It's like making a little movie with clay characters. And the best part is that because the clay is so malleable, you can make the characters look like anything you want – animals, people, monsters, anything you can dream up!

Clay animation is a really fun and creative way to tell stories and make movies!
