Clean Air Act (United States)

The Clean Air Act is a law in the United States. It was passed in 1970 and it is there to help protect people from breathing in bad air. It helps to reduce pollution from cars, factories, and power plants. For example, it limits how much smog and other things that are bad for our air come out of car exhausts and a smoke stacks from power plants. It also makes sure that the air we all breathe is clean and healthy.
