Clientitis

Okay kiddo, let's talk about something called clientitis. Imagine you have a friend and you really want them to like you. You might do things like always say yes to what they want or try to impress them all the time, right? Well, sometimes, people who work with clients (like a doctor or a lawyer) can start to feel the same way.

They might start to focus so much on pleasing the client that they forget to take care of themselves or make the best decision for the client. This is called clientitis. It's a bit like trying to make your friend happy all the time, but in a job.

People with clientitis can sometimes make decisions that aren't really the best for the client, just to make the client happy. It's important for people in jobs where they work with clients to remember that they need to do what's best for everyone, not just the client, and not to forget to take care of themselves too.
