Clippy

Clippy was a character that used to appear on a program called Microsoft Office when people needed help with writing letters or making presentations on the computer.

It was a little paperclip with eyes and a mouth that could pop up on the screen and give suggestions about how to do things. For example, if you were trying to write a letter and you spelled a word wrong, Clippy would pop up and ask if you wanted help fixing the mistake.

Some people thought that Clippy was helpful and cute, but others found it annoying because it would pop up all the time and get in the way. Eventually, Microsoft stopped using Clippy and now people find help with Microsoft Office in different ways.
