Cortana (virtual assistant)

Cortana is a virtual assistant, which means it is a computer program that tries to understand what people are saying to it, and then do what they want it to do. Imagine a person you know that is really good at helping you out when you need it--but instead of a person, it's a computer program. That is Cortana. Cortana can answer questions you ask it, play music for you, remind you about important events, give you weather updates, and lots more.
