Clochán

A clochán is a type of building made of rock or stone that looks like a little hut. It's kind of like a house made out of really big, heavy Lego blocks.

People used to live in clocháns a long, long time ago in places like Ireland. They were made by stacking big rocks on top of each other in a special way that made the structure really strong and sturdy.

The shape of a clochán is really cool. It looks like a beehive or a giant upside-down funnel. The walls are so thick that the inside was warm even in cold weather.

Clocháns are really interesting to look at and learn about because they are so different from the houses we live in today. They were built a long time ago, but some of them are still standing today. People keep them around to remind us of how our ancestors used to live.
