ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Coal breaker

A coal breaker is like a giant machine, tall and made of metal, with moving parts inside. It's used to break apart big chunks of coal into smaller pieces. Think of it like breaking a cookie into crumbs- you can't fit a big cookie in your mouth, but you can eat a bunch of small crumbs. The coal that's broken up is then easier to handle and transport. In the olden days, people used to break the coal by hand, but coal breakers made the process much faster. Nowadays, coal breakers are still used in some places where people mine for coal.
