Coal gasification

Coal gasification is a way of making fuel by taking coal and breaking it down into a gas. The gas is then used to power cars, homes and factories like natural gas. To make coal gas, coal is placed in a heated chamber with oxygen and steam. This causes the coal to break down into a gas which is then used to fuel our cars and homes.
