ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Coconut milk

Coconut milk is like a special kind of milk that comes from coconuts, which are big, round fruits that grow on coconut trees. The milk is made by smashing up the white part of the coconut, which is called the meat, and then mixing it with some water.

When you shake the mixture, the coconut meat bits give their milk to the water and create a liquid that is kind of thick and creamy, like milk but with a more tropical flavor. It's often used in cooking and baking in many places all around the world, especially in countries where coconuts grow well.

Coconut milk can be a bit different from regular milk because it has more fat in it, and it is not produced by animals like cows or goats. But it is still a very yummy and healthy alternative for people who cannot drink regular milk or are looking for something new and exciting to try!
