Coffee percolator

A coffee percolator is a special pot designed to make coffee. It works by boiling water and then sending it up through a tube and over some coffee grounds. This makes the coffee mix with the water and turn into a brown liquid.

It's like when you play with legos and you build a tower. You put one block on top of another until it's tall. With a coffee percolator, you add water and coffee grounds to the pot and then put it on the stove or a heat source. The heat causes the water to boil and go up through the tube, just like when the water in the kettle steams and whistles.

As the water drips over the coffee grounds, it takes their taste and color, like when you mix paint colors together. The brown liquid that collects in the pot is the coffee that you drink.

The pot keeps boiling the water and sending it up through the tube over and over again until the coffee is strong enough and full of flavor. Then you turn off the heat and pour yourself a cup of coffee. And that's how a coffee percolator works!
