Collaborationist Chinese Army

Okay kiddo, so you know how countries have armies that protect their people and fight against other countries if they need to? Well, a long time ago in China, there was a group of soldiers who decided to work with another country's army instead of fighting against them.

That group of soldiers was called the collaborationist Chinese army. They worked with the army of Japan, which was a big and powerful country that wanted to control parts of China. The collaborationist soldiers helped the Japanese by doing things like gathering information about Chinese troops and helping them take over cities.

But lots of people in China didn't like this. They wanted to fight against the Japanese and protect their country, not help them take it over. So the collaborationist soldiers were seen as traitors, people who were helping the enemy.

In the end, the Chinese army and other resistance groups fought back against the Japanese and won. The collaborationist soldiers were punished for what they did, and some were even executed. It was a difficult time for China, but they persevered and won their independence.
