ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Collective wedding

Okay kiddo, imagine you have a big family and all your cousins and friends are getting married at the same time. Instead of having one wedding every few months, everyone decides to have their wedding on the same day. That's called a collective wedding!

Instead of everyone having to plan and pay for their own wedding, they can share the cost and resources. This means they can have a bigger venue, nicer decorations, and even better food because they are pooling their money together.

Just like any wedding, the bride and groom will still have their own special ceremony with their own vows and rings. The only difference is that they will be getting married with many other couples at the same event.

It might sound busy and crowded, but collective weddings can be a lot of fun! You get to celebrate with all your loved ones at the same time and it can be a really special day for everyone involved.
