College of Bishops

Okay kiddo, so you know how there are different people who work together to help run a big group or organization? Like your teacher and principal work together to run your school? Well, in the church, there are also groups of people who work together to help lead and make important decisions. One of these groups is called the College of Bishops.

The College of Bishops is made up of bishops from different parts of the world who all belong to the same church. Bishops are kind of like the bosses of certain areas within the church. They help to lead and take care of the people who belong to their church in those areas.

Now, when all of these bishops come together as a group, they are called the College of Bishops. They often meet to discuss important things like how to teach the church's beliefs and how to help people grow in their faith. They also work together to make important decisions about the church, like choosing new leaders or deciding what new rules should be made.

So, think of the College of Bishops like a big group of bosses who all work together to lead and make important decisions for their church.
