In the United Kingdom, some universities are made up of more than one college. This means the university is actually made up of several different colleges that are all part of the same university. For example, if you went to the University of Oxford, you would actually study in one of the colleges at the university, such as Magdalen College or Christ Church College. Each college is different and has its own unique traditions, staff, and buildings, but all of the colleges are part of the same university and work together.
